Due to the persecution of imperialism, they immigrated to America. Now, they have great influence throughout all areas of American society.

The Jewish network is closely connected across the world. Through this network, the Jews reflect their interests in the international community. Their immense power is rooted in the network.

On Passover, the biggest Jewish holiday, many of them return home. They share information about the different parts of the world where they live. Throughout their history, they have made a conscious effort to preserve their traditions and culture.

The Jewish network is a combination of pride and intelligence. The network reinforces their power in international politics. With the influence of their network, they are leading the future of their country and the world.

The Chinese also have a worldwide network that connects Chinese across the world. The network of overseas Chinese is a source of global intelligence. Using the network, the Chinese have increased their influence on international society.  Like the Jews and the Chinese, many peoples of the world are increasing their global influence through their network.

Network is power in today’s world. It is clear what young Koreans should do to prepare a better future of Korea. Make the Korean Network!

To achieve our dreams in the global arena, we should establish the Korean Network.  This is the best thing we can do to ensure a promising future for Korea. Koreans have spread throughout the world.

In the 1900s, the Korean peninsula went through historic tragedies:
The Japanese Occupation Period and the Korean War

In these difficult times, Koreans went abroad to work at sugarcane farms. Some started their life as construction workers in a foreign country. Through their unique diligence and passion, many Koreans pulled through all challenges. They achieved success on foreign soil against discrimination and stereotypes.

They are now enhancing Korea’s international standing. The Korean overseas community is the world’s fifth largest after the Chinese, Italian, Israeli and Indian. Seven million overseas Koreans live in 175 countries!

Regardless of where they live, overseas Koreans are helping to promote Korea. They are supporting the spread of the Korean Wave, Hallyu.  

They are also promoting the legitimacy of the East Sea and Dokdo to the global community. Likewise, overseas Koreans are making constant efforts to increase Korea’s global influence.   At the same time, they strive to ensure that their children remember their Korean roots. Overseas Koreans have established over 1,200 Korean language schools across the world.

The second and third generations of Koreans are now learning Korean in those schools. Seven million overseas Koreans have gained a great deal of intelligence and experience. There are also 50 million Koreans on the Korean peninsula.

Fifty seven million Koreans will build a powerful Korean network! The network will give us great power and pride.

To justify its occupation, Japan devalued Koreans’ ability to unite. It also purposely ignored Koreans’ potential to improve. However, we know Koreans have a great potential to make a greater Korea. We can see our potential and ability to unite in our history.

Koreans have proved their potential to unite and overcome challenges during many important moments in history.

Let’s build a bigger and better Korea!! Our dreams will rapidly spread across the world. With the Korean network, we can achieve bigger dreams in the world. VANK is looking for young Koreans, who want to hold hands with seven million overseas Koreans.

We want to build a worldwide Korean network.

The goal of this network is to deliver hope to people throughout the world. We will become friends with the people of the world, and bring about world peace.
